Our Junior School

Our Junior School provides a safe, caring and vibrant environment in which every child can flourish and grow.

We ensure the individual needs and qualities of each individual child are reflected within all aspects of school life as we strive to support, nurture and prepare our children for transfer to their chosen secondary school.

We are proud of all that our children accomplish in their time with us.  They are supported to realise their potential academically, physically, emotionally, spiritually and morally; our staff members are both committed and passionate about developing the whole child.  The school values underpin all that we do and we walk hand in hand with our families in seeking the very best for each individual.

 Our children enjoy school because the learning journey is exciting and opportunities presented to them develop confidence, independence and resilience.  Children rise to meet the responsibilities given to them and are commended beyond the school for the ways in which they conduct themselves as mature and well-rounded individuals.

During their time at St Alphege Junior School our children are given opportunities to engage in exciting learning beyond the classroom.  School trips and visits complement the rich curriculum and visitors, too, add to the wealth of the learning experiences.  The locality is explored and our oldest children work to support their younger infant colleagues.
