School report question 14

14. How does working collaboratively with other schools support children with SEND?

Schools in Solihull are divided into five collaboratives, generally based on their geographical position.  The St Alphege Schools are part of the Synergy Collaborative and benefits from working with a group of 14 schools, all of which have significant expertise in a range of additional needs.  The SENDCO from all schools in the collaborative meet on a termly basis to share their expertise, discuss new resources as well as keep abreast of both the local and national picture in terms of SEND.  These meetings are facilitated by Mrs Judith Anstiss who is the Inclusion Advisor for Solihull Schools.
