Our Christian School Values
Our six biblical values inspire and infuse the direction of our Federated Schools. With our Christian School Vision, our values permeate all areas of school life and impact upon our outcomes for all. The values direct our work to enable all to flourish and experience ‘life in all its fullness.’
1 Corinthians 13 v 4 -8: Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal.
1 Corinthians 13 v 4 -8 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”
Ephesians 4 v 15: We will speak the truth with love. We will grow up in every way to be like Christ, who is the head.
Colossians 3 v 13: Do not be angry with each other, but forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, then forgive him. Forgive each other because the Lord forgave you.
Galatians 6 v 5: Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.
Galatians 3 v 28: you are all one in Christ Jesus.
