RSE – Spring Fever
In 2017 the Governors adopted a new programme called ‘Spring Fever’ for the teaching of Relationships and Sexual Health Education (RSE) in both schools.
The programme is designed to provide support to children from Reception through to Year 6. Spring Fever offers fun and responsible support in providing relationships and sexual health education. It is tailored to the sexual development phases of children and offers an age appropriate method of acquiring the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed. As a result, children are better prepared for any subsequent sexual contacts in later life. They also better understand relationships and sexual health.
This programme is delivered by class teachers in the Summer term each year. Below is a diary for each year group, providing more detailed information:
